A Georgia Tech Student Organization
Our site is currently under construction. Due to the all the time we spend developing tools for other organizations it's hard to find time to work on our own- but rest assured it is well in the works.
Humanitech is a student organization intended to mobilize the technologically savvy students of Georgia Tech to provide solutions to modern humanitarian issues. We seek seek to accomplish this through the pursuit of three goals:
- The enhancement of existing humanitarian organizations through the use of technology, varying from web design, software applications, hardware installation/maintenance, digital media, game design, film, or the graphic arts.
- The technical education of marginalized populations, making available the varied resources at their disposal
- The innovation of unique solutions to humanitarian problems
Our members are student volunteers dedicated to the improvement of their local community by using their particular talents and skills to meet these goals. We are always willing to help, to take on projects of any sort, and to be an asset to those around us.
We meet at 7:00 on Thursdays in the CoC. We are quite interested in new members to come develop their skills and portfolio while perhaps even doing some good along the way.
